The project aims to support the digitalization of Tuscany agriculture by promoting the adoption of Decision Support Systems (DSS) to optimise the use of agronomic input.
The Poderi app includes a section dedicated to viticulture and one focused on business marketing. All this is achieved through co-creation in a Living Lab with end users.
An innovative aspect of the project is its ability to enhance communication between consultants and farms through digitalization. Using the web app, consultants and farms can share access to business data, view DSS results, and exchange messages and alerts.

FAIRshare (Farm Advisory Digital Innovation Tools Realised and Shared) project is aimed at supporting farm advisors to use Digital Advisory Tools and Services (DATS) to increase the productivity and the sustainability of agriculture.
AEDIT, as partner of FAIRshare, is the leader of the User Case “Tuscany Living Lab to support a wider adoption of sustainable crop management DATS”, focused on olive growing.
The aim of the Tuscany Living Lab is to develop an App, Poderi, with advisors as co-creators, to promote sustainable olive growing.
Poderi combines DSSs for agronomic practices (pest control, irrigation, fertilisation), and tools for field monitoring and for sharing farm information among farmers and advisors.

ACARISS project – Increasing the knowledge on environment and pollution risks involving schools in experimental activities – was aimed to make science learning more enjoyable and creating a link between schools and researchers.
Aedit, as subcontractor of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, has developed the web -site and the system to exchange data, ideas and experiments.
The aim of CLARINO was to provide an overview at regional level (Tuscany) of the climate change impacts for the next few decades on agriculture, forestry and zootechny.
The economic evaluation of the costs that the community have to support to offset these impacts was carried out.
Decision Support System for farmers to estimate water requirements for the most important crop in Tuscany. The DSS is based on a meteorological data set and on crop phenological and physiological parameters.
Aedit is subcontractor of Università del Molise in the project AgriCLASS (Agricultural Climate Advisory Services) awarded by ECMWF on behalf of the Copernicus Climate Service. The projects aims to establish whether climate data and climate predictions can inform producers’ decisions on planting and managing woody perennial crops in relation to climate change. It is using three crops as case studies – vines (South West France), olives (Tuscany, Italy) and beech forests (Molise, Italy). Aedit is in charge of providing the model to forecast olive fruit fly infestation risk based on monitoring database.
